INDOORS

Support and training for trafficking in women and sex workers working in hidden places.

Amnesty for Women e. V. carried out the first stage of the project in Germany.

INDOORS ran from December 2008 to December 2010 and was coordinated by Veronica Munk on behalf of the Amnesty for Women e.V.

INDOORS was implemented by the European Commission for Justice, fundamental rights and citizenship within the DAPHNE Programme (fight against violence towards children, adolescents and women) in five countries of the EU. The main Coordinator was the Assossiation Autres Regards in Marseille, France.

INDOORS main objective was to support and accompany women working in brothels, massage rooms, bars and nightclubs. Street work as the most important method was encouraged in order to better reach this group.

This project was aimed to facilitate access to medical and social services for the target group, as well as transmitting knowledge about sex workers, organizations and institutions for better fulfilment of their needs.
